Thailand’s Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank) president Nartnaree Rathapat has announced that the bank intends to focus on investments in promising bio-, circular and green (BCG) SMEs and startups in 2023.

According to Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, Malaysian International Trade and Industry Minister, the contribution of trade and investments to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) had declined over the past 10 years.

Vietnam’s General Statistics Office (GSO) had recently released its Report of Vietnam’s Labour Productivity in the 2011-2020 period: the current situation and solutions, which indicated that although improving, the country’s labour productivity level was still very low compared to other countries in the Asean region and the disparity continued to grow.
