The head of the International Energy Agency (IEA) has warned that the Southeast Asian region is especially vulnerable to an energy crisis due to the rapidly growing demand on the region, and the region should vary its import sources.

Special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) have provided a faster and less burdensome method for companies to go public, compared to the traditional initial public offering (IPO). Despite this, the current regulatory framework in Indonesia produces several regulatory challenges that needed to be addressed before SPAC IPOs can be administered in the country.
